Francis Chan & David Platt on the danger of our hearts to default to negligence. They make a great point about our natural inclination to do nothing, to err on the side of “I’m not called to do that” instead of “the Bible says” and leading with obedience. (Note: I’m not 100% on the adoption point, but it creates dialog there and makes one think. Nothing in our lives is outside of the supremacy and authority of Christ the King. And everything should be examined to make sure it has been submitted to Christ.)
